This is a scene in Adhisaya Piravi (1990). There are three main characters in this short video. The man in the black shirt and light blue jeans is called Kekoa; the other man with the dark jacket and jeans is called Ali-Bali, and the third character is the little boy, Kekoa’s son, is called Little Azue. Kekoa and his son are known to be the greatest fighters possibly in the whole country but Ali-Bali decides to challenge Kekoa in a fight.
(Music in background)
Ali-Bali: Hey! Who does this guy think he is?! He thinks he’s so tough? Well why doesn’t he try fighting me!!
Ali-Bali leaves from behind the gate and goes to face his challenge. Kekoa is standing on something so he’s taller than Ali-Bali. Unfortunately for him Kekoa uses his special technique and sends Ali-Bali flying over to the other side of where he’s standing and little Azue trips him. Ali-Bali falls down but quickly picks up Azue.(Little Azue laughs at his accomplishment.)
Ali-Bali: What?
(He turns to see Little Azue at his side)
Ali-Bali: do you think that’s funny little boy? Now I’m mad… You’re coming with me!
Little Azue: Ahhh put me down! Put me down right now! Don’t make me hurt you!! Father help, help!
Meanwhile when Ali-Bali’s brother (man in brown jacket) sees him getting thrown over by Kekoa he rushes to support his brother. Kekoa fights him as well; he throws him on the floor, kicks him in the stomach, defeats him, and then he moves on to save his son. (People cheer).
(Little Azue is up on a tree with Ali-Bali)
Little Azue: Help me father! Please get me down already!
Kekoa: Okay Ali-Bali I’m giving you one chance to put my son down. If you don’t than you will have to face me again and this time I will show no mercy.
(Ali-Bali quickly responses)
Ali-Bali: I will not bring the boy down until you tell everyone that I have defeated you today. If you do that then I will leave in peace and you get your son back; if not than the boy gets it.
Kekoa: Yeah sure that’s exactly what I’m going to do…
Just then Kekoa kicks a large barrel and hits Ali-Bali on the stomach and little Azue falls from the tree. Kekoa catches him and puts him down, then turns to Ali-Bali.
Kekoa: Now as for you…
Ali-Bali: You’ll never catch me!!
Kekoa turns to his son and puts another barrel to his feet.
Kekoa: Go ahead son.
Little Azue kicks the barrel with enthusiasm and hits Ali-Bali right in the stomach. Ali-Bali falls down flat on his back. Kekoa walks towards him and lifts his foot to kick Ali-Bali’s knee.
Ali-Bali: No please don’t!
Then he steps on his arm.
Little Azue: Way to go father! Show no mercy to this fool!!
Ali-Bali: No wait…!
Kekoa then punches his nose.
Ali-Bali is in the hospital his arm and hand in casts.
Ali-Bali: Oh there’s pain in my arm… there’s pain in my leg… I will never fight again in my life! And all of this for the reputation of being strong!!
